Road Trip to California

The worst part is the packing, so I'm fiddling with the blog thing. I know my friends will be musing daily: "where is she now" and I want to help them so I am launching this attempt at a travel journal. We will be taking some of Mary's things,such as furniture, so the packing will have to be very clever. Our personal packing usually involves a panicky selection of what we think we will need for weather conditions and activities. We hope that all the musing we have done over the past month (in lieu of actually packing) will pay off in speed for the final throwing together. No pictures of this part. It is not pretty.
